Tiny Shoes

This week I made these tiny shoes:

The pattern is from Stardust Shoes.  It's free!

I wanted to see if this pattern would work well with felted sweater.  I used some lightly felted sweater for the soles.  I know, you can't see that, the soles just weren't photographing well.

The pattern relies on several layers of fabric and fusible interface to make the shoes less floppy.  I think it might work with felted sweater (maybe lined with cotton fabric) but I'd have to play around with them a bit.

It's a fun pattern though and came together very quickly.  I don't think baby will be running any marathons in these shoes, I would probably use them until baby started crawling or moving around too much.
