This post is long overdue. I received my Cupcake Swap Package from Raili (AKA Armida21) a few weeks ago now. What a treat it was!
I actually received it while I was still pretty sick with a cold. It was a really nice surprise to receive it during that yucky time. Raili sure did spoil me!
I adore this handmade project bag. It's big, which is great for schluping all my project stuff around when I am on the go, also, how amazing are all those colours? They are all my favourite colours, with a ball of yarn package. I can't believe she found a fabric that is so perfectly suited to me. Well done Raili!
Here are all the yummy cupcake goodies I recieved: a candle, potholders, stickers, notebooks, notecards, post-its, a larger notebook and 2 yards of yummy fabric.
Check out these stitch markers! Handmade by Raili and this was her first attempt at stitch markers. They are so darn cute! I really must get out my fimo one of these days!
The amazing knits. I love the colours Raili chose, and everything she knits is flawless. Another notebook too, and some chocolates, yum.
This isn't a great photo, I really should crop it or something (that's my big head in the shadow), but it shows a cute crocheted hat that Raili sent for baby, and a super cute onesie too!
Raili also included some Berroco Vintage (my favourite!) and some sort of silly toenail seperators. I tried to use them, but my toes were too little! hehe. They are cute anyways!
Last, but definitely not least, Raili crocheted me some fruit for the nursery. I am hoping to make a bunting / garland for the nursery (as seen in my nursery mood board) and these will look great when I finally get back to that project!
Thank you so, so, so much Raili for showering me and the baby with all of this cupcake-y love.
This swap was part of the Itty Bitty Knits Group over on Ravelry. I love those ladies. They are so much fun and such a great group of women. The swaps happen quite regularly so if you're a Ravelry member, be sure to check them out.
You can also check out Raili's blog right here. She is incredibly talented and always posts lots of great projects. I am very jealous of her current sock project (she wants to knit 1 pair of socks per week in May!). I wish I could get into knitting socks, but it hasn't happened yet!
Thank you so, so, so much Raili. You are truly a star swap partner and I am blessed that for this swap you were my partner!
