I had a bit of a set back today… My 3.75 mm zephyr needle snapped! A replacement is now on the way from knitpicks, and I happen to have a spare from the last time this size snapped on me, but I will be anxious knitting with this size until the replacement set appears (and from now on). I swear I was being careful… I hate it when that happens. I learned from my lesson and ordered a pair of 3.75 mm DPNs as well. I love that I didn’t have to pay for shipping.
I started with this yarn for my veggies...
Now I have a little less yarn...
and a few more veggies...
The Aubergine and Tomato are finished. I am going to move on to the Carrot next. I have some sport weight yarn that I am going to use double so I can knit with a different needle size for a while.
Your veggies look so yummy!!! Are you using the patterns in "Amigurumi Knits" by Hansi Singh?
ReplyDeleteI meant to leave a longer comment but I got distracted.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks that your needle snapped. I've been lucky I've never snapped a DPN. It's not funny really, but it's kind of funny that we're having the same setbacks. Good luck this week!
Thanks for your comment prettystitches!
ReplyDeleteI am using Amigurumi Knits by Hansi Singh for a lot of my veggy knitting. I think I will have to post a review eventually since I will be using it for several more veggies. I enjoyed knitting the tomato and the aubergine but hated and gave up on the carrot. Stay tuned for discussion about that soon!
Super cute!
