Baby Half Off

For those of you who are already moms, or who are soon to become moms, I hope you have heard about Baby Half Off.  There are a few other discount sites like this out there (my fav's also include BabySteals and EcoBabyBuys) and they are definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Earlier in the week Baby Half Off hosted a giveaway for a set of Babe Ease My Traveling ABCs.  I didn't win, but hoped that they would feature the product for sale on the site soon.  They did!

I snatched up a set of these plush letters for 50% off Friday (January 28, 2011)  The sale should continue until 8am MT on Saturday, January 29, 2011.

The manufacturer says that you can get a set from their website for 50% off through January 31st.  BUT they don't ship to Canada, and I haven't actually gotten the set into my cart at that price.  Do check it out if you are interested in scoring yourself a set and you missed out on the Baby Half Off sale.

There are some great homemade versions on etsy, if you want to go that route.  Of course, they are a little pricier, but stunning nonetheless:

These ones are from the Canadian vendor Play to Learn at $55.00 (USD) for the embroidered set:

I adore toys like this and although at one point, I hoped to make everything myself, these days I am keeping an eye out for less time consuming (and more affordable) options.
