And this...
I wish that were all, but it's not! I have a few more things to finish before I can start my new mission, which is to knit baby clothes for my baby.
I love knitting, and I love sharing my knitting. Don't all knitters? I end up making lots of stuff for other people. I always enjoy it, and it's always a learning experience. I learned a lot while making the Presto-Chango Sweater (above). I will definitely apply what I learned the next time I make the sweater, and I will again. I actually saved my first two sweater fronts, they weren't quite good enough to give away!
In the meantime, my husband and I have been baking (marshmallow cereal and nut bars, orange madelines, and brownies this weekend, only one recipe was from a box) and nesting a little - We're slowly working towards making our home our dream home. We've been in our house almost two years and now we are wanting to change it a little (new paint, new shelving, finishing the basement, etc). We are currently slowly acquiring new bedding for our room. It's a little expensive and we only get one or two pieces of the set at a time. So far we have the duvet cover and yesterday I bought the sheet set. I'll post a photo tomorrow!
