Bunny Hat on Susan's Blog

Hey!

A few days ago one of my favourite knit designers emailed me to ask permission to use a photo of mine on her blog.  I swear I squealed a little.  I got all start-struck...  You mean, the sweet, famous, fabulous Susan was browsing through my Ravelry projects?  The Bunny Hat that I knit actually caught her attention?  Wow!

I have to admit, Susan's attention may have been drawn to beautiful, adorable, tiny Cara, rather than the hat.  As well, this photo was captured by my very talented photographer friend, Elizabeth.  The composition of the photo her eye for capturing wonderful moments probably also had sometime to do with catching Susan's eye.  I hate to admit it, but the knitting I did for the bunny hat ends up feeling pretty secondary.  I don't mind that at all!

Here is a screen capture of Susan's post.

Be sure to check out the whole thing right here.

Also, for anyone finding my blog through Susan's blog, Welcome!  I hope you'll stay awhile.  I can't say too much for now, but I hope things will get more exciting around here in the next little while.

  2. Congratulations Melissa!! I saw your bunny tail on Susan's blog, I'm very happy for you. I don't think your knitting was second to the baby, it makes the baby that much cuter. There's something about a baby in a hat... it just does something to me. lol.
