Keeping Ravelry Current

I love Ravelry. I think it's the best thing, since, well, yarn! I love all of the organizational features that are available through Ravelry. My project page, my stash and my queue. I use all of these features often when planning future and current projects. I try to keep everything updated with lots of photos and descriptions.

I had fallen a little behind since our vacation.  I came home, but the camera stayed with Alain.  I used our old camera a bit, but it's just not the same as our Nikon.  I feel like it is really important to have a good camera, the best you can possibly afford!  It will never be a purchase you regret making.

Today I added a bunch of yarn to my stash and updated some project pages.  There I was, hauling armfulls of yarn across the kitchen to be photographed.  My husband had just come downstairs for breakfast and saw the whole photoshoot preparation.  I love that he didn't even blink an eye at the brand new skeins of yarn in my arms.  He didn't question where they had come from, or why I needed so much, or what project I had planned for it all.  What a good husband!

Here are a few photos.

I love the new colours of Spud & Chloe Sweater, Cider and Grape.  Yum!

Adding to my Malabrigo Worsted collection...

This Cascade 220 Superwash is for a particular commissioned project.

I got all this for 25% off when Dancing Ewe Yarns had a sale a while back.  I was happy to hear last week that the online store is going to remain open.  Yay!  Dancing Ewe Yarns has a flat rate of $10 shipping for all Canadian orders.

  1. I am so lousy at updating my Ravelry account. I just can't seem to entertain the children, update my blog, work, and then have time to both knit and post about it. I wish I could. I really love the site. :(
