I have a few minutes for a post, so I thought I would post a quick sneak peak.
I have been going mad looking for wool sweaters to felt and turn into fabulous crafty items. I have been having no luck at our local thrift stores and even a call out to all my mom's sweater wearing friends has gone unanswered. I swear, all I can find is cotton and acrylic!
I settled for some sweater pieces which I found locally (well, in Ontario) from an etsy seller looking to destash. The shipping was a little steep, but I got this batch for about $30 CDN.
There is a lot of good stuff in the batch. The etsy seller uses the sweaters to make diaper covers and blankets. She says she has boxes of scraps like this, so maybe I can use her as a source in the future. You'll be seeing a lot more of these scraps in the future.
So far I have my eye on making a bunch of the Betz White Cupcakes. The how to can be found in her book Warm Fuzzies which I have been monopolizing from my public library for a while now.
I also ordered these felted balls from Ornamentea. So those will be appearing on the blog soon too.
Mostly though, I have realized that I have a lot of on the go projects...
My Simple Modern Baby Quilt
More Cloth Baby Wipes
and a bunch of projects I haven't even mentioned yet!
I want to spend the next few days finishing up some of those projects so I can share them, and so I can move onto new things!
I'll keep you posted!

Hi Melissa, I purchased several packages of 10 felt balls each package from DeSerres on clearance for about $2. But good to know about your felt ball making "trial". I was going to try to make some as well, but not anymore!
